"Exit One, Interstate 65"

It all moves underwater,
can't you see?
Wheels disconnect from the road.
Wheels spin out from under.
Wheels turn around.
Passenger side connects, then
head connects.
There's water coming
from the sky.
It might as well be
the whole world;
the whole world
inside a drop.
The car inside the drop,
spinning on the
taut surface,
spiraling on the
cohesion. It
falls towards the earth.
Slide to a stop.
The drop hits the ground
and sinks
to the center of
the earth.
